AUTHORIZATION TO REPAIR

(To Be Accepted Prior to Beginning Services/Repair)

 

In accepting the Authorization to Repair you confirm that you agree to comply with your insurance company program standards. You confirm that you understand the use of the program is voluntary and that you have been given the choice to engage any independent contractor and/or to participate in your insurance company program.

You confirm that you understand that the independent contractors and/or independent service providers are hired by you and not by your insurance company or handdii.

 

You confirm that you understand that your insurance company is paying for the services provided up to the property damage covered under your policy, subject to the deductible and the policy’s terms and conditions, and that your insurance company is not exercising its option under the insurance contract to repair or replace any part of the property damaged.

 

You confirm that you have selected an independent contractor of the handdii network to perform repairs as indicated on their estimate due to a loss occurring at your property. You confirm that you understand your deductible may be payable to the authorized independent contractor and/or independent service provider(s) and this can be paid to the contractor online via the handdii platform.

 

You confirm that you understand any claim payments issued will include, or (go directly to) your independent contractor and/or independent service provider(s) and your mortgage holder(s) if applicable. You confirm that you agree to pay your independent contractor and/or independent service provider(s) for any repairs or additional improvements made at your direction that are not covered under your policy.
